Thank you for taking the time to check out Kiddie Cove. We offer a unique alternative to traditional daycare. We look forward to meeting you and your family.
We have no set contracts, time commitments, or hidden fees. Kiddie Cove offers a short term care option for parents who need to run errands, go grocery shopping, go on that lunch date with a significant other, go on that hot date with the husband or wife, or just have some me time to unwind and recharge.
At Kiddie Cove we offer short term child care for up to 4 hours. We accept children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our staff is CPR/First Aid trained and undergo a thorough background check. We offer planned activities, as well as free play to help children develop academically as well as socially and emotionally.

Safe Environment
Our front and back doors remain locked in order to prevent strangers walking in and out. We are monitored by ADT and have cameras in the center as well. Our Procare fingerprint system ensures that you,and only you, will have access to your child’s account.
Best Practices
I have worked in licensed child care facilities for over ten years. I am very familiar with all of the daycare laws and regulations. Drop in daycare is not regulated by the state, however, here at kiddie cove, we voluntarily choose to adhere by these regulations for the health and safety of your children.
EXPERIENCED Staff
Our owner, Monica, holds a Masters in Education from Clemson University (Go Tigers!). All staff have passed a background check from DCDEE and are CPR/First Aid Certified.
ratios
Drop in daycare does not require state ratios to be followed, but we voluntarily choose to follow these guidelines for the safety of your children. We have on call staff that can come in and help with ratios when we are busy.
Flexible Scheduling
Our main hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday Through Friday and 10-4 Saturdays. However, we are extremely flexible, and offer before and after hours appointments, all we ask for is a heads up so that we can make staffing arrangements!
cleanliness
Kiddie Cove strives to be as eco friendly as possible. We veer away from harsh cleaners and chemicals and chose to keep our site clean with a mix of vinegar, essential oils, and water. However, the most proven method for disinfecting is a bleach solution (2 teaspoons of bleach to 1 gallon of water -per the CDC). We spray our toys with a disinfectant solution and let it sit overnight so that the toys will be clean for the next day.
